A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk and LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law at Fordham University School of Law in New York.

He spent most of his professional career as an in-house lawyer in commercial law companies, initially in the electronics industry, and then in development and construction. Providing consulting services covering the full range of activities of large business entities, Mr. Witek-Pogorzelski participated, among others in negotiating significant contracts with entities such as CISCO and Motorola, as well as supervising legal development investments at every stage of implementation.

Robert Witek-Pogorzelski also specializes in arbitration proceedings. He has acted as an attorney in cases in the field of sports and consumer arbitration, and since 2008 he has been an arbitrator in the Willem C. VIS Moot Arbitration - International Economic Arbitration Competition. Since 2014, he has been a head coach of the representation of the University of Gdańsk at these competitions.
